Who is resident legal?

I have been a lawyer for 15 years, with over 10 years’ experience as an in-house counsel in the technology sector: from enterprise-sized companies to VC-backed start-ups. I have been VP of Legal and Operations at a Series B SaaS scale-up since 2021.

Prior to going in-house, I started my legal career at a top-tier law firm, then I went to a boutique, but neither were the right fit. I never thought that I would go back to private practice, let alone start my own law firm!

However, Resident Legal is different. I like to think of my role as a “General Counsel-in-Residence”: a fractional offering for experienced and commercially sound legal advice, without the expense of traditional law firms billing by the hour, or the overhead of a full or part-time in-house legal counsel. 

I am a proud mum of 2, and I am interested in theatre (both watching and performing), reading, running and painting. My super power is trivia.
